Hair is not that important.

Hair is not that important.

The way that we look is not that important. There is so much emphasis on hair in our country it’s almost an obsession. Don’t worry about your hair or the way that you look. Do the best that you can. You may have good hair days, and bad hair days. You may not even have hair.

In Genesis 1:27 God says that we are made in his image;

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

God created us in so many different colors, sizes, with different types of hair and colors of hair, skin and eyes. We are all beautiful and worthy in his eyes.

Be happy with yourself, the way that you look, and the way that you are. Be happy with the way that your family looks as well. Certainly we want to look our healthiest and take care of ourselves. But God created your physical body, including your heart. You are important to him, and beautiful in his eyes.

When I do art, I make sure I include blue faces, green faces, white yellow and brown faces. I find beauty in everything. I like big noses, small noses, bald heads, and purple heads. I hope you like everything and all things, and see the beauty that God created.

    Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. To me, this is the same as developing a friendship with someone in your class room. Over time you talk to them, spend time with them, and get to know them. Sure, we cannot see God. And you may feel silly talking out loud….
