Rest with the Lord.

Rest with the Lord.

Here’s a prayer that you can say, maybe it will help you find rest.

Dear God

I am tired, stressed out, and over loaded with things to do. I have more responsibilities that I can handle. I am not sure how I can make it through each day. Will you please reach out and help me find rest in you? What does that mean, God? Should I read the Bible, even though I am too tired to even move? I need help to understand your word.

I have people that depend on me, and I don’t even have time to take care of myself. Please help me find my way through this day. I am asking you to help me find rest through you, because I don’t know how to do it myself.

I will talk to you during the day, thank you for your help and guidance. If you help me through someone else, please allow me to see that support and graciously accept it. If you help me through my little cat or dog, even if I am just burying my face in their soft fur with my eyes closed, I will know that is you working behind the scenes.

Just talking to you now, I actually feel better.

Amen.
