Trust in the lord.

Trust in the lord.

Proverbs 3:5 says to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight. “

This makes me think of days where I may feel sad, angry, over confident, or low self esteem. Bad hair day? Feeling sick? or Hungry? Different days we feel different ways, and it can be really hard to be nice to everyone. It makes it hard to get things done when we don’t feel like ourselves. It’s hard to concentrate in class if our stomach hurts.

There are so many things that can mess up our day. There are even more things that can make us say something unkind to someone that we love, or even to someone that we don’t even know.

We are all connected. Someone yells at you, then you may feel so bad that you end up taking it out on someone else. And the chain reaction goes on.

Trust in the lord. No matter how you feel, ask him to help you choose your thoughts and your words that day. Things may not be how they seem to be, maybe not as bad as you think they are. Don’t lean on your understanding, but lean on God’s guidance. He will help you get through the day.

I have learned that the key is, we have to ASK him. Literally say, “I can’t do this on my own, I need your help God. “ It really does make a difference!
