The truth shall set you free.

The truth shall set you free.

Scripture says that Jesus is Truth. If we know him, we know the truth, and we are free from spiritual bondage, condemnation and sin. This scripture has extra meaning to me. It means, God loves me, Jesus loves me, and they will take care of me. If you wake up every day and keep this in your mind, knowing that you are a child of God (the creator of this universe) you can conquer anything.

If you are having a difficult time, please pray daily and ask God for help. Ask him for understanding, peace, joy, and protection.

If you are in a good place in your life, please do what you can to help others. This includes animals, birds, insects, reptiles, fish and all creatures of the sea. Our existence depends on having unity with this earth; all people and all living creatures big and small.

Maybe you don’t have the ability to do much. At the very least, don’t litter, watch out for little animals or creatures in need, and rescue anything that you can. Anything kind that you do for anyone or anything, is the same as if you have done it for Jesus. And you will be rewarded in heaven.

Look to the Lord for strength. How do we do that? Say a prayer out loud, or in your head. Sometimes you can kick start this if you go for a walk, run, dance a little, and have a self talk. Think about your accomplishments. Think about the good things that have occurred to you,…

  • Draw near to God.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. To me, this is the same as developing a friendship with someone in your class room. Over time you talk to them, spend time with them, and get to know them. Sure, we cannot see God. And you may feel silly talking out loud….
